Meet Dr. Victoria Dahl
Medical Doctor & Hypnotherapist
Brain-body science obsessed.
Recovering functional medicine addict. Passionate about helping women stop fearing their bodies — and start living in them.
The deeper why behind my work
After years of working as a GP, I kept noticing the same pattern. Women with real symptoms. Real suffering. And a search for answers that never quite ended — because every answer just led to the next question, the next test, the next practitioner.
Nobody was asking why the searching itself never stopped.
The health seeking started as the solution. At some point it became the problem.
That's what I work with. Not the symptoms in isolation — but the loop underneath them. The fear pattern the brain learned to run, often a long time ago, that no blood test will ever find.
Who I Work With
Women who have tried everything the wellness world has to offer. Who have tried functional medicine, the supplements, the protocols — and are starting to wonder if they've been looking in the wrong place.
They're self-aware. They've probably already tried therapy. They know the nervous system is involved somehow. They're not looking for someone to tell them it's all in their head — they've had enough of that.
What they want is someone who understands both the biology and the deeper pattern underneath it. Who won't flinch at complexity. And who can finally help them connect the dots they've been collecting alone.
I'm a medical doctor and therapist based in the Algarve, Portugal. I work with women locally and online. My work draws on medical training alongside neuroscience, trauma research, and mind-body medicine — including EMDR, brainspotting, somatic therapies, and hypnotherapy.

What matters to me
I’m not interested in quick fixes, rigid protocols, or approaches that ask you to override your body.
I value clarity, simplicity, and work that creates real change over time.
I don’t see the body as random — or something to fight against — but something that can begin to make sense when we learn how to listen.
This kind of work takes patience, curiosity, and a willingness to look a little deeper.
It’s not for everyone — but for the right person, it can be deeply meaningful.
I’m naturally drawn to what sits beneath the surface — patterns, connections, and what doesn’t immediately make sense.
